Effect that launches if specific conditions of audio sound appears (for iOS)

We all know BandDelay by Harry Gohs and it launches delays if the audio sound appears in specific frequency.

I'm thinking for example about octaver that launches on my accoustic guitar only in low strings. Would be great. Do You know FX like that for iOS? Or a tool that would allow me to launch FX like that.

Maybe one of the pitch -> MIDI tools such as MIDI Guitar 2 would work? It would output a note which you could then use as a trigger for some FX in AUM. You could route it via an intermediate node (Streambyter, or similar) to map a range of notes in the lower octave to the one you need to trigger your effect.

Edit: thinking some more, you would miss the initial attack of the note using this method and would also need a way of disabling the effect so maybe not the best solution…

  • There’s a free auv3, “Multiband” (by Mani Consulting) that allows you to route certain frequencies through effects and leave others unaffected.
