i was going to ask the same, it seems like some type of stereo width and filter with lfo

  • Sounds similar to Velvet Machine.
I mean the description. Not the output.
Weird granular reverb sound stretch warper.

  • reminder: last 2 days for k-devices 25-50% off -desktop plugin|m4l-

  • So it’s a reverb?

  • At the very crossroad between a micro-looper, a granular engine, a sustainer, and a sound warmer, Magma can squash your sounds with reverb-like, big shaking auras, or sprinkle air and make your lines ethereal.

  • Maybe on the same league as Spacefields?

  • It looks fun

    Seems like it

  • Yes… saw a vide of desktop and looked sounded cool.

I'd love to have their Tatat midi generator, which I have on desktop. Magma will be fun with fm sounds.

  • The description reads like a short lsd novel.

  • Is there a desktop demo anywhere? I’ve clicked around their website and not found any, maybe they just don’t do them…

    Me too, great midi app!

  • Not the most interesting demo, but I’ll bet it can do some interesting stuff, knowing k-devices

    "recondite"?

When the hype gets this intense one gets suspicious.

Haven't come across that word in quite a while, guess I haven't been doing enough crosswords 😂

  • It sounds interesting. I look forward to hearing it's ambient potential.

I've thought the same, k-devices's apps are really fun and great tools to take onés creativity beyond limits we don't even expect.

Always highly experimental, so I’m sure this one is too

  • ...blend it with its past self, unravel its most recondite shades and control its weight in space...

Sounds like my autobiography shot through with unhappiness and now on a diet...

  • You know you're a legend when someone reads the comment without looking at who the poster is, and already immediately twigs that it must be Johnny! No joke, after the first phrase, I knew it must be you. Hats off sir!

I love their apps, but their demo songs don’t usually do them justice

Same with most devs, to be honest

  • I was meaning an actual demo executable rather than a YouTube, I’m much more likely to know if something’s useful or not by actually trying it out. I think I’ll probably end up grabbing the iOS version when it lands, then seeing whether I can live with it only there, or if desktop is a better place for it in the end…

  • Kinda sounds like Rymdigare…
