  • So much fun!

  • The punch in effect is one of the most exciting modules that have been released for sure.

Quick question... I'm curious. Is there a reason you inserted your punch-in FX rack onto the Main channel instead of Master?

Personally, I always put any global FX onto Master, or send groups of tracks to a Send A or Send B (using it like a bus) and put the FX on there. For example, route all drums to Send A and then a single compressor -- or buffer effect -- only for the drum bus.

I asked @giku_beepstreet what’s the difference between the two and he told me that master could be taken away without any issues.

One issue I’ve encountered was that in my main rig I use main track for a global transpose so should I use any pads for punch in fx I’d also be transposing all melodic/harmonic tracks. If I put it on the master track this is not a problem in fact that’s what I tent to do. So yes, it is actually quite nice to have globals on the master track. TBH I find the naming a little confusing and as I type I keep checking which one is which.

I through this session together very quickly on my testing iPad without paying much attention. ;)
