Cubasis panning problem

After creating 3 audio tracks with cubasis ( using a helicon mic interface ) I tried panning the tracks only to find when panned right the tracks were inaudible. The original intention was to have a middle track with the other two at left and right. In cubasis this is just one monural track and sounds like shit…….but……..when i export the song to audioshare…….bingo….the tracks are panned as expected???…….what’s going on?…….just a note, when i did the original recording i placed the tracks in their respective panning positions before recording them.

  • Select the left input as the source, not left + right.
The mic signal is mono. The interface uses left for mono it seems.
Record three mono tracks. When mixing, pan them to the stereo positions you want.
Mix down to stereo, and the mix/panning should be how you intended.
