Yes, I updated 12 apps yesterday and now you can save your presets in the plugin and use them across the other DAWs.

Kudos for doing this! Wish that would become standard.

One of those “made it a whole new app” kind of updates. Stoked for this. His apps feel like OP-1 on the iPad.

Haven’t used it much but just updated to support AUV3.

Haven’t used it much but just updated to support AUV3.

It still has this 'always convert to [email protected] float' on load/import which on a 48k device trashes the audio quality and all recordings are also 'auto converted' to 44.1k on a 48k device.

It should stick to the files native sample-rate, never got any reply from the dev regarding that :(

But for a freebie we can't really complain that much...

  • LaPlace got a minor update, and the Moogs got an update as well

Oof I didn’t realize that as I never really used it. That’s a bit of a shame. Maybe it’ll be fixed one day soon.

Nice! I've kept my powder dry on a lot of the IceWorks/IceGear stuff but I was thrilled when Nambu became Mac compatible and I'll probably pick this one up now. At least for Nambu, I found that I can save a GB project on iPad with a custom preset and it will open up in Logic Pro on Mac with the preset intact.

Seems a great app as well, wonder if for a buck more Elsa would be cooler than the MolliLooper. This records and loops as well, right? It can load and save samples. Plus is has fx. Also has a sequencer now, auv3… 🤔

I’ve only tried Molli for about 15 minutes so far but they seem very different with very different workflows. Elsa is more focused on mangling samples and doing weird sequences with different key zones and things like that. Molli is a performance oriented looper with no sample adjustment.

Ok, both seem interesting. Something to chew on. 😊

Definitely. They both seem great but Molli is a bit more immediately satisfying.

    v1.1

    • the new "stream" mode for generators (in section "generator - tone") allows you to use this app as a six-channel gated effect. in this mode the generator uses a direct input stream as a signal source. this mode does not use the loop recorder and is similar to how gated effects work. the "input" mode has been renamed to "loop".
    • a new button "space: on, continue, off" has been added in the "output" section to control the common reverb space and reverb reflections of each generator. with this button, you can turn off the overall reverb space and reverb reflections of the generators, for use external reverb / spatial effects as needed. this button also allows you to make reverb tails continue after the sequencer stops.
    • added the ability to create groups of presets. now the list of presets can be organized more conveniently. you can create groups, move presets between groups and merge them. the "favorites" group is created automatically when you make a preset a favorite. the "factory" group contains all factory presets, and can be hidden in the settings.
    • added the ability to export and import presets and groups. you can save a preset or group to an external file, then import it into the app on another device.
    • the "solo" button has been added for all generators.
    • several new factory presets added.
    • improved work of generators in loop recording mode (the "loop" mode).
    • sequencer control parameters exposed as midi and external parameters of audio unit.
    • added a detailed description of the new modes to the built-in description of the app. also available as a pdf file.

    • other small fixes and improvements.
  • AA Sample Player just added batch import, navigate inside the plugin, duplicate files recognition, and sample preview. Cool.

  • mLFO just added an ADSR to the the LFO waveform allowing you to further customize curves. Fixed bug that prevented custom loading of lfo tables. Probably my favorite lfo app.

  • Molli Looper - bug fix, iPhone fix, momentary mode, sync alert.
