Fluss vs. Wires. Which one, if you had to choose?

I have about $17 iTunes credit and am trying to decide which to get.
They both look really fun. I already have plenty of apps of both types, but these 2 are special for sure.

I will get both eventually, so I am wondering which one people are having the most immediate fun with.

I guess, right now, I am leaning toward Wires first, and Fluss later. But Fluss just got a pretty cool update, and may be more fun now than when the initial excitement was raging around here.

Anyway, please help me out with some opinions on these 2 apps.
Thank you.

  • I believe Wires is at an introductory price, going up on Jan 25th?

    (double check to be sure)

So maybe the savings might be good to take advantage of?

  • Flip a coin

  • Wires first while the intro price is still going strong. Fluss immediately when you get your next paycheck. ;)

  • Wires is on sale so I’d grab that for now and Fluss later. They also go really well together for when you can get both

  • If I had to choose only one, I’d pick Fluss by a country mile. Wires is cool and unique and all, but there’s so much more to Fluss. Of course we’re comparing two totally different things here, kinda like asking “should I get Nambu or FAC Alteza?”

  • Wires.

Fluss is nice and all but Wires is more useful.

    Interesting…

To me, Fluss seems more useful. Wires seems like a bit of a “one trick pony”. BUT…I just bought Fluss last week and do not own Wires (yet)…

  • To me, Wires and Fluss go hand-in-hand flawlessly and are both useful in their own right. @CracklePot did say he'd purchase both eventually, so I'd go with the one that's currently on sale first (Wires) and then get Fluss.

  • Thank you very much everybody.
You all saved me some cash, for real! 😁

Totally forgot Wires was on sale now, so Fluss will have to wait another week or two.

Thanks for all the compare/contrast opinions too. Really helpful.
I hope some of that conversation continues.
But, you have me sorted now.
    Thank you, again.

  • Do you need a fx or an instrument?
    Well Fluss can be both…

Wires is a great echo and processor. Fluss is more of a wildcard instrument IMO.

  • Fluss Instrument-->Wires-->Fluss Processor = 🔥🔥🔥
