Free Space using iFunBox?
Once again I've reached critical storage issues. I painstakingly am forced to delete apps and files that I don't want to.
When I reached this tragic point on my computer I found that I was able to delete gigs of useless (for me) apps and information, such as multiple languages.
My question is, using iFunBox or anything else, is there a way to scrap up a wee bit more storage? Are there useless language files, a way to delete stocks, weather, passbook, maps.....?
I'm not interested in jailbreaking and I'm sure iFunBox is in the "grey" area but I honestly just don't want EVERYTHING the iPad has to offer.
Oh and I'm sure this has probably been asked before so links are always welcome.
Thanks in advance!

First, check it out the email messages (and files pasted), the Safari caché, temp files, etc.
Go to "Adjustments/Use" and you'll see which apps spend more Mb.
Some apps have large download caches that can't be deleted in the Settings. Spotify, for example, will keep a cache of over 1GB on my iPad, and the only way to clear it is to delete the app, or use a program like PhoneClean: http://www.imobie.com/phoneclean/
Without jailbreaking, the best thing you can do is, as mentioned, check for apps that build up giant caches and delete/reinstall. Spotify, Facebook, etc. Google Drive can be gigantic as well; if you upload your work from your device, it creates a needless copy that stays on your hard drive.
Google drive? Thanks oat. I'll have to check it.
I recently did a reset to recover space that was lost in the unknown.
I got back over 4 gigs too! Amazing!
Please, share the "How to..." to do that. Thanks.
Yes please!
It happened when I went back to IOS 8.2 from 8.3.
I reinstalled my backup from iTunes and then used ifunbox to reinstall some apps and I noticed that a lot of space had been cleared up.
Ah, ok. So it's like when I did a "Reset to factory settings" when updated from 7 to 8. I also recovered a lot of free space.
Probably I'll do the same when update to iOS9.
I just did a factory reset, and reinstalled everything.
If you look at your storage space, you will find that "other" takes up a large portion of the storage space. Useless language files, delete stocks, weather, passbooks, maps, etc. are here, clean other now!
