best harmonica app?
I would love to find an authentic sounding harmonica AUv3. Any recommendations?

I think it’s unlikely that you will find one that has all the articulations available to the real thing, but I would think that a rompler might be your best bet.
I'll check through my romplers and see what sounds I can find.
I think this would be a great project for SWAM instruments.
Best iOS solution I know of is Accordion Vintage by ape soft, a really great app.
I like Thumbjam for this kind of thing
I wonder why Michael Eskin hasn't made a harmonica app? Maybe because it is not fingered.

Possibly because of its broad range of articulations. I would imagine they are very difficult to either model or sample. (I’m assuming a diatonic, but a chromatic would be less difficult).
Some leads here, incl. Korg Gadget and Module Pro:

That's what I thought
Little Lady?
Does Hohner still make those?
It’s on their “rough” roadmap for 2023:

Awesome!
Check out Harmonus. It's free.
Given the complexity, if you want a realistic sound, I'd suggest just playing a harmonica and recording it with a decent mic. If you just want a ballpark sound approximation, Apesoft Accordion might get you close
