Ableton Note to Koala workflow

https://youtu.be/EhbP0KKmJvs

Video by Danny Sugar, showing how you can integrate it to your existing Koala Sampler/AUM workflow.

This is about where I'm at right now. After almost a year away from music, I'm hitting refresh, and learning the basics again, whilst catching up on what I've missed, musically, and app-wise.

Are many people using a workflow like this with Ableton Note and Koala?

  • If you have an audio interface with loopback, you can plug it in, and record Koala directly into Note. Use Ableton Link to sync.

    What's loop back?

I'm choosing an audio interface at the moment, but not sure what options are essentials, any tips?
