Chord!

I wasn't aware of this app, and didn't find anything on the forum about it. Really awesome little app songbook maker. Has tons of great features. Copy in tab from websites to get up and running fast. It's so intuitive and impressive. Probably not for everyone out there, but if you write music and use tab this is probably going to interest you. Check it out here.

  • I almost bought this before but someone recommended Guitar Master which is another terrific app. Chord! got a nice update though and the songbook thing is cool. May own that one someday too!

  • I really like the look of this one. Thanks for posting. Bought! :)

  • Very nice app. It computes the chords and scales, rather than pulling from a db, so it has a bit smaller footprint than most, plus a larger library than most. I particularly like that it can harmonize the scales.

  • Purchased!

  • I picked this up the other day. Looks pretty good.

  • Does it have midi out or internal synth for trying out the chords?

@thepinkelephant no it doesn't have midi unfortunately. I think the sounds are a simple sample playback. The apps strength for me is it's layout. I love experimenting with chord theory so I like it. Might not be for everyone but it does have a lot of original features, drop chords, work out chords with a missing string (cool eh?). Worth a read here... http://getchord.com/blog/?iPad

  • Like what @SpookyZoo just said, there's no midi out. I don't use midi much, so I didn't even think of it. Would defintely be a cool feature. I'm loving it for all the reasons listed above. It's nice for capturing some of the partial ideas I have in my head as well as cataloging the head full of tunes I'm carrying around. Great interface. A few quirks here and there (why can't I add a new section from within the edit window without having to go to a second edit window?) but overall, I'm very impressed and pleased with the purchase. Glad someone else has found it useful too.

  • Bought it, of course. Puzzled, but intrigued.
