  • Sounds neat, but I don’t think I could stare at that stupid blue thing the whole time I’m using it.

  • Worth testing via the beta link
    Thanks @White

  • This seems to have totally messed up my midi
If I now play atom in AUM
    It keeps repeating a note
    That isn’t even there
    Wish I never installed this
If I draw in atom 2 it plays these ghost notes
    That’s after 2 reboots

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • It works well with Helium…

  • edited January 2023

    Didn’t see this one coming.

Thanks for sharing the TestFlight too @White

  • @winconway
Since deleting the app and the folder, things seem back to normal, thank goodness
Maybe it was my bad luck, but I will not be installing it again

But good luck to the developers , don’t want to put anyone off

I can't see how the app merely being installed, but not running, could have impacted the behavior of apps that are running.

    This b.t.w.
    is a ridiculous claim.

The iOS architecture does not give an app the ability to achieve something near like that.
it is just impossible to alter the operation of another sandboxed app. If that would be the case, this guy would be candidate for the hacking award and become a legend next.

Hahaha, quote of the week 👍

    Or other players

As I stated this was in atom 2
    Through AUM to a synth
Just stating what happened to me
I added the Jinny midi file to atom 2
Then deleted it, then I was getting a continuous midi note, and atom was empty of any notes
Dropped a known midi file I had made in atom 2 yesterday back in to atom 2, I could see my midi data, but that wasn’t played , but the same note being repeated but not shown in atom 2
    Is what it is

  • jason

    And a note:
Midi files DO NOT SOUND at all, you know? This thing mainly generates midi files.

Thanks for the hot tip, sadly after only 6 visits to the forum I won’t take your comments seriously

You should have better explained what you did.

Oh. then MIDI Jinny possible is creating “magical hidden notes”, ghosty stuff,
    whooooaahh.

Stuff, thar actually nobody can see and will destroy all your … erm … drive all the apps that are using that midi.
Not even 2 complete " system restarts can take away this strong magic afterwards. Whooooaaah….

Couldn’t this just be a bug in Atom or something.
It is very suspicious what you are talking here.

    cannot take you seriously too.

I'm actually starting to think you are Jens Guell 🤔. I'd put money on it

  • Wondering the same exact thing. My favorite crazy developer is crazier than ever. Love your stuff, "Jason"!

The tone is unmistakable. Jens, you should get chat gpt to write your posts for you - that would give you a slightly better chance of anonymity 🤪

Reminds me a bit of the character Jakob used to have in his early videos.

@Gavinski - There's some evidence that confirms your suspicions in another thread - I'll let you do the detective work...!

  • Would loop and key be reasonable additions to the features? At the least a loop toggle option would be essential for me, perhaps not others. But also, even a basic key drop down for file generation would be very useful.

Thanks. Sounds like an unpleasant battle. If the things I mentioned can be added, that would be great. If not, que sera sera.
