  • This sounds cool. I like the big explosion at 1:25! There is much more going on than I can hear on these cheap PC speakers. I will listen in headphones tonight.

Ah - A Nigel Kneale reference! What a very fine and spooky show that was! And Nigel’s thing wasn’t too bad either… Seriously though, great work. Very much up my street. The beast lumbers slowly from the pit, as the boffin scientist in the temporary lab constructed by the army nearby begins to put it all together, oblivious to the rope tentacle thing inching its way toward him across the floor. Will he notice in time?

Sidenote/ spoiler: I always loved the deep spook of The Stone Tape where you only realise at the end that a ghost is the least of their troubles.

  • Excellent work! And it’s making me think it’s time to watch the play again.

  • Nice artwork!
Sounds really cool, and agree with @Paulieworld , the crescendos are so good!!!
    Love this musical creation.

Yeah, must dig it out of the dvd collection that has pretty much been abandoned since streaming came in. Always loved Nigel Kneale

  • I listened again last night in headphones and I definitely missed a lot of detail during the first listen. I liked it. I have been trying to find some new directions, and this gave me some ideas. I am interested in your creative process, if you ever care to elaborate.

I don’t think I could write down my process, it’s a series of sparks in my head that lead to another spark and a lot of twiddling knobs
