All the Synthmaster Apps have a lot of great Pads and Fx presets for Ambient design. Sunrizer is great too. Nave is nice as well, too bad its not AUV3.

Thank you. I have Nave with @Spidericemidas’s presets, and I’ve always loved the SynthMaster apps. I remember Sunrizer was one of my first synth apps, some years ago, but I somewhat bounced off it. Maybe it’s time to look again.

I found a thread here recently, using Agonizer to make ambient drone, an unexpected choice of synth. But the effect was soft and warm, a lovely drone. (I’m mad about drone, and subscribe to Zake Drone on Bandcamp — I love his drones).

Dont forget to download the free Sunrizer Presets. There are loads of good ones for Ambient, also from Spidericemidas… I will check Agonizer, didnt know about that. thanks

    Great project too btw.
    :)

Yes, I have Droneo. I have only used it a little so far. I've pulled together a few drones in Wotja too.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the project. I appreciate everyone's encouragement here.

Thanks, I just checked my Sunrizer folder, I have the presets from @Spidericemidas, Sam Israel, and SourceCodeX (Floating Realms). You've now reminded me to go see what sounds I can coax out of Sunrizer. That synth has been gathering dust for a while here, you've got me tempted to boot it up again!

There's a thread and a video here on the Agonizer drone thing:
    https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/42294/agonizer-ambient-drone

He said “Agonizer works great for Ambient with his wonderful warm sounds.” Those words warmed my heart. I bought many synth apps over the years, but never a bass synth. Now looking for one for ambient and drone, Agonizer comes and slaps me gently around the ears!

There's an AUM, Agonizer and Gauss AUM template here that I found on here or YouTube yesterday.

I gather that Magellan 2 is another possibility for drone explorations. I found some really subtle shifting modulations shared from that in the past. I see, doing a quick search here for “magellan 2 drone” there are loads of posts coming up, and mention of some drone presets for it too. So it looks like I have two contenders for a drone synth choice.

Enjoy exploring it all, I do.
