  • I read that Bandlab can use AUv3. How does that work when collaborating with others that don’t have the same plugins?

I've been down this road and the best solution for collaborating with a singer/songwriters is just to have the lot of us use either GarageBand or Cubasis. We text the files back and forth. Not optimal, in that we have to limit ourselves to the onboard effects and sounds for simplicity, but it works. And since it's tough to convince some people the benefit of recording dry and adding effects later, the ability to just turn off the effects others add is a plus. Always too much reverb on the guitar and vocals.

I think you’re right on all points.

So do I. Except that in this case one of the other collaborators is not able to cope with that level of complexity. I'm not saying it is complicated, just that there would be a learning curve this particular person would never undertake.

I forgot about this one it is well reviewed too.

    Audio Bridge
It does have an IAP $.99 to increase to 10 sessions and $4.99 increase to unlimited sessions. So you can probably test it out on a few jam/test sessions before committing to an IAP.

Soundtrap app, Soundtrap Studio app with IAPs for premium features I think there is a Soundtrap website too

Thanks, this one looks interesting. It's a massive bonus if it is available for Android. Soundtrap looks good butI can't do the sub thing. Thanks for the suggestions.
