  • That's a nice piece of work there. Well done. 👍

  • Nice! I’m interested in your process if you care to share.

  • Filled my Sunday morning Ambient needs! Fabulous sound textures, what synths did you use?

  • Thanks @Wyvern , @Paulieworld and @azul3D_Apps
My process is more or less make it up as I go along 😊 In this case …

1 Find a Riffler Riff that I liked by pressing the dice until one comes along, A Dorian for this one with Endless Mode On.
2 Find a set of sounds that I like by trial and error, my go to is Roli Noise (very unfashionable). There were 6 instances in this case. Also used BeatHawk Female Choir. I tried Pipa to begin with but it was maxing out the DSP. Each sound had its octave tweaked in AUM to get the best overall sound.
3 Throw a load of effects at it I.e. FAC Alteza, Attack Softener, MU Loch Awe, TB Reverb, Velvet Machine, AU3FX Space and MixBox, Also Magic Dice to vary the notes lengths, echoes etc slightly.
4 To get some variation I use A2M on one of the channels and use that as the source for some of the sounds
5 More variation by having two instances of Rozeta Scaler, the first receives from Riffler and uses a scale other than A Dorian to reject some notes. The second receives from Scaler (1) and is set to A Dorian. This was used as the source of the bells and the ‘lead’ which was Roli Noise Moraz Lead. Both Scaler 1 and 2 Pre Transpose parameters were varied by 2 LFOs from Rozeta LFO.
6 I manually tweaked the octave of the Moraz Lead as the session was running to gradually make it more bassy.
7 Manually fade groups of instruments in and out as I go along.

  • That sounds like fun. Nice way to spend an afternoon. I’m doing the same right now. Enjoy your day!

  • This sounds epic! That choir is such an awe inspiring sound. Such a very cool way to use Riffler.

  • Bloody hell. I admit I overlooked Riffler since I know nothing about guitar tablature (I know about notation instead rather), but this piece is absolutely inspiring!

  • Truly epic and very cinematic soundscape!!!
I love how the music grows in intensity and vastness!
Love this creation, truly enjoying the openness and the serenity this music delivers.
    I am impressed!!!
