Soundsaw is my new favorite guitar amp!
I hit on it totally by accident, but no effects app or amp app sounds better for what I want. And I almost would never have known so I'm letting you know is case you have similar taste!

Thought about it.. didn’t try it.. now I will.. thanks..
Any IR loader for cabsim?
So I’m curious if you have a favorite preset(+/- tweaks) and if you’re playing an acoustic, strat, tele, hybrid or what kind of a guitar?
Correction: the one I was thinking of is "All cut filter" and using Vari around that. But there are just so many presets that sound interesting to me so I hesitate to pick out one. I'll be recording some soon and I'll write back with the ones I choose or setting I make of my own.

Spacefields is superb on guitar as well! Right now stuck on "Brown dwarf" preset
So many things work well for guitar amps that aren’t guitar amps. It’s great to just try it and see.
It's so true. I've got my guitar and a Lyra-8 hooked up to the same preset (Cold fusion) in Spacefields and I never want it to end!
Soundsaw and Spacefields are both fantastic. Really worth reading the manuals so you can dial in your own, especially with Spacefields. Both have fairly short and clear manuals, unlike some of Igor's earlier apps!
The “Well Heated Tubes” preset is amazing. Especially when you fiddle with the feedback and overload knobs.
Oh man, I’m loving this!. What a discovery. Isn’t this forum just the best?.
I often complain about how we seemed obsessed in replicating 70 year old tube amps. An amp which, incidentally, in most cases we haven’t even owned. Like that is some sort of absolute truth.
Soundsaw on guitar sounds just lovely, I will be using this (unless I forget which is also very likely given the ridiculous amount of apps we/I own).
Is there anything Soundsaw doesn't sound good on? 😂 Top app!
