Rid'em - Fine Tuning

I've currently put together a dRambo project that basically
interfaces with all of my studio gear, both audio and midi.
Now that the Track limit has been removed it makes it much easier to do so.
I've spent the past few days aligning the timing of everything to within 10 samples or so.

Phase accurate via SPDIF and audio interface in/out.

I won't go into all of the gear and connections, I'll save that for another post in the future.

This is what it currently sounds like.

The horn section are SWAM instruments on another iPad,
which I'm using as an external sound module
and it also features the Roland JV1010 (the chime and pad).

This performance piece itself has 22 rows of melodic and rhythmic Patterns.

  • I forgot to mention that the step sequencer synth is comprised of
three wavetable oscillators, one noise generator and a self oscillating filter.

  • I'm glad that my piece inspired both you and your A.I.

    Thank you.

  • Enjoyed that one a lot 😊

You are a Drambo sorcerer. I am impressed by the range of what you do with it.

Agreed, yes I am a dRambo sorcerer now for sure.
    It's quite something.

On another note, let me share a little story with you.
I had an attack of G.A.S the other day so I started looking for drum machines.
I have an easel with all of my distortion pedals on it so
I was thinking a drum machine would compliment it so there I was looking,
I came across so many, too many to list right now but...
The Volca Drum caught my eye, analog, can be modded to
    provide individual outputs, etc, etc.
So whilst I was reading all of this the thought occurred to me,
"why not put together your own thing?...", so I did,
a week later I have an 8 x part additive drum machine using
analog sounding oscillators with a few touches of my distortion pedals.
So...I've changed my mind about the drum machine....

This is what it sounded like midway through me connecting everything up.

It doesn't sound like this anymore though... 😁

  • This looks and sounds pretty amazing. As someone who only just started taking baby steps with Drambo I have to say, I hope one day I am half as capable. Cool stuff.

    I remember those days.
    We all took baby steps.

I have to say, I hope one day I am half as capable. Cool stuff.

You will be, keep on going and then when the penny drops you'll go ,"Eureka". 😁
Before then...there's stuff on the horizon. 😏
