is there a input channel limit for AUM?

I am using a Allen Heath QU24 mixer as my audio interface for AUM, but I can only get 16 channels into it. The channels 17-24 show signal on the mixer, but don't feed into AUM, although they are recognized as input channel, they stay silent.

    I have 9 stereo inputs (which could be configured as 18 mono) in my setup. Only limited by my audio interface.
