Has BLEASS been hacked?

I just received a notification from the BLEASS Compressor app (the notification said I had 3 unread messages from BLEASS), tapped on it and it opened the app with a pornographic ad… in the app! Unbelievable. I think they or their apps have been hacked. This is not a joke and obviously I cannot post here what appeared in the app.

Anyone at @bleassapp aware of what is happening?

I turned off all BLEASS app notifications.

    Looks like it wasn't just me then. Going to delete my post:

    About five minutes ago I got a weird notification banner from one of the Bleass apps, similar to when there's a sale. I wish I had not clicked on it because I can't retrieve it again, but it was definitely one of those "x wants to chat" scammy ones. When I clicked on it (stupidly), it opened one of the Bleass apps (can't remember which). Then it tried to redirect me to a website on Safari.

    Luckily, I have restrictions on content access because my son likes to play with my phone, so no harm done as far as I know.

    I'm not sure how the notification stuff works with ios apps and how those are triggered. Therefore, I don't know if my phone has a virus that spoofed it, or if Bleass had a security incident.

    Thanks for the comment. They have been hacked or their security measures have failed. Now I’m concerned about any credit card information they might have on file.

    It seems like something has hacked their notifications. i got a suss notification. didn't click it.

    That's weird as I have notifications for ALL Bleass apps disabled in the settings but still that crap popped up?!
    Hopefully the @bleassapp dudes have a valid explanation for this...

    Hope you fire this offending company. They're clearly incapable of protecting your customers from malicious hackers.

    @bleassapp would be interesting to know which provider / library you're using for your notifications so other developers can avoid them.
