Pure Synth Platinum Broken? Says i need to buy Factory Content???

Hi

I think this came up recently somewhere, but PSP seems busted.

Hadn’t used it for a while, then opened it to find everything missing.

So I opened standalone, redownloaded all the available included content, but now it’s nowhere to be seen. The Factory Content is there as a Paid Upgrade and the large factory download I did is nowhere to be seen. Some random White Noise library is all that seems to be included.

Has anyone found a solution to this? AFAIK I’m running the latest version. Ios 15.7.2.

Thanks!
Richard

  • There’s a drop down menu at some library items you can reveal by clicking on the small arrow:

Different banks should pop up in the middle according to your selection in the drop down menu.

Thats weird I don’t have that little dropdown arrow next to Free Sample Content that you have, so these categories are not available. And in the download section of settings Factory Content was labelled with BUY.

I deleted and reinstalled and they’re back, but something definitely got screwed up. Ah well, lost all my user presets but at least its working again.

There was a problem with PSP 2.5.15 released on 01/22. It was fixed with PSP 2.5.17 on 02/04. There was a thread on this. You could have just waited for the fixed update.

You need to turn off Automatic App Updates in the App Store settings, and always delay music app updates for a few days to avoid these problems. I'm waiting on 3 updates that came out this week; there's no rush.

Yeah, I don't normally dwell on what I could have done, water under the bridge etc, and I never use Automatic updates in any case so that wouldn't have applied, but thanks.

No matter, only had a handful of presets in any case ...

Thanks - that down arrow doesn't exist for me, as all my presets were deleted when I uninstalled. I think that arrow means you have subfolders, so it may return when i start making new presets in folders.
