Yeah, I dig this one a lot. What is that melodica you got? I'm in the market for one, but only casually
I don't think I've ever seen one with an extended mouthpiece like that. How do you like it?
Cheers dude. It is a stagg. It was cheap but it is also solid. Buy it in the shop and try every note though as some can have some notes out of tune. I bought mine on ebay and had to tune some reeds. Otherwise the sound is good which probably can't be heard in the recording. Extended mouthpiece is just for comfort. Could easily play without though.
My fave supdom number yet. Feel like adding AUFX:Dub into the mix would make you and the spirit of Augustus Pablo awfully happy.
Are you toggling effects with the top 5 white keys on the upper keyboard?
Thanks @syrupcore, mostly with my videos the more interesting stuff happens just over the half way through so skipping the beginning is often a good idea. Layering takes time and many people (including myself) get bored and take off which is a pity.
Turnado and effectrix are on the same midi channel (upper board). The knobs are assigned to turnado and the keyboard to effectrix. Effectrix triggers from any octave, so C3 will give you the same effect as C4 etc.
@supadom. Good stuff. You know Hemingway (and others) always suggested completely cutting the first paragraph when you're done with a draft (he also said There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed. and that seems applicable sometimes to music written as well as words....)
