Batch timestretching of samples - best options?

I remember this being discussed here recently but can’t find the thread. Which are the best tools for batch timestretching of samples? Cheers!

    Gav:
    on Mac and PC:

    versatility (and cheap or free);
Reaper (most timestretch methods under the same roof and easy batch )
    https://www.reaper.fm/

the best quality I've ever heard:
    IRCAM TS(2)
    https://www.ircamlab.com/products/p1680-TS2/
no versatility the the most ahm "fidelity" in timestretch
( *this is the new gui for their spectral engine SuperVP,
previous it was in AudioSculpt - abbandoned)

    so -
    go for Reaper!:)
its the universal panaceum and monkeywrench for audio.
    and good one.

If you also want to work with markers, to stretch individual parts there is no way around 4Pockets audio editor.
    I wouldn’t know any other.

Otherwise I think it was segments….and…..I have to think about the other one

  • Ohhh what about koala?

  • best quality on iOS is

    TwistedWave

Thanks, last time I checked, segments timestretch was very poor quality compared to, say, Audiostretch. I know zynaptic has a good rep, @waka_x, might have to look at twisted wave, cheers. Haven’t tried timestretch in koala yet actually, will take a look, cheers!

  • How’s the timestretching quality of Neon?

Auditor? Haven't tried it personally but it has both stretch and batch options (not sure if you can combine them though).

EDIT: nope, not possible - the macro designer doesn’t have a stretch command.

  • “Batch” is a dreaded iOS word. Maybe one of the top 5 worst

  • I'm almost certain when asked about the timestretch in Koala, Marek said it was based on Zynaptic
