[Solved] Nanostudio 2: muting MIDI controller´s input?

Hello everyone!
I´m using a Novation X-Station 61 as MIDI controller and I´m having problems with NS2 muting the input after a couple of seconds. It is working perfectly with Cubasis 3 and also with Reaper in my macbook. I also noticed that there are some stuck notes while using the controller in NS2.
Does anyone experienced something like this or have any hint of a solution?
Thank you! 🙌🏼

sounds weird, neve r had such issue with any controler .. any chance there is some feedback loop ? Inmean what comes into NS from xstation is somehow send back to midi out into xstation which sends it again to NS ? Midi feedback loop usually manifests in either freezing HW or disabling ports on SW (or both)

try disable xstation midi out in nanostudio settings to try if problem disappears

Thank you! Indeed, it was feedback loop. disabling MIDI out solved it.

  • there is probably software midi thru somewhere in Xstation settings which sends everything from ot’s midi IN direcrly into midi OUT - you need todisable this one and rhwn you don’t newd siablw midi out in Nanostudio
