using nanoKontrol2 to control midiDREAMs sequencer inside NanoStudio 2 : I can’t make it work !
Hi,
My question concerns NanoKontrol2, midiDREAMs sequencer and NanoStudio 2.
So, in midiDREAMs, there’s a nanoKontrol2 mode in the settings which really boost the fun of this little MIDI sequencer. But the problem is that it doesn’t work when you work in NS2, and I really can’t figure why because it works with every other hosts/daws I tried.
I tried every workaround Incould think of (Streambyter, MIDI route, MIDI bus…)
If anyone have a solution or even a lead, I would be great full !

Unfortunately NS2 doesn't allow sending anything except notes to AUv3 plugins from external sources. I don't believe there's any way to make that work.
(I tested using a midi monitors and confirmed from this thread: https://www.blipinteractive.co.uk/community/discussion/818/how-to-send-midi-cc-from-nanostudio-2)
Thanks for your answer which confirms what I suspected….
There's always this workaround:
(Start NS2 standalone before trying to add to AUM. Adding NS2 to AUM isn't necessary but makes it easier to switch to.)
Thank you very much !
