SpringSound update problem?
I just updated to the latest version of SpringSound. Now, when I have the app loaded as an iaa in aum it will not run in the background, although background audio is enabled. It also seems to have a lot of problems loading in aum. I have to try many times to get the app to load, even when opening it standalone first. Anyone else experiencing these issues? I rebooted the iPad, also reinstalled the app, no joy. Majorly regretting updating

What a balls up. Many of their website links are broken, I googled one of them and managed to get a working insta link, message sent but an email would certainly be better if someone has it

…it should be possible to reach Christophe Duquesne (the developer) through Haken Audio website, or his own, where he‘s selling his „onde“-resonators (la-voix-du-luthiers.com). I guess the hakenaudio-team is being pretty busy getting Eagan Matrix-updates out (since Osmose just launched)…

strange. I have the luthiers-site open just now (thinking about ordering an ondes…), works fine here. But I think they will usually respond from haken audio, as well. Good luck!

Well, folks, bloody Apple strikes again. From the dev:
"For some impenetrable reasons, Apple refused that feature [BACKGROUND AUDIO] when I submitted last update. I tried to discuss with them to understand why, provided a set of good reasons explaining why it was highly useful, but they kept on asking me to remove it. I had to update for some bug corrections, so after a while I finally gave up and removed this useful feature 😕 I'm very sorry for that, and will try to reintroduce it for next update."
If you haven't updated, don't update!

More likely a reviewer unfamiliar with audio apps. Sadly, even still there are occasional reviewers reject AUv3 that don't run as standalones. It sometimes takes persistence to get apps through when one gets assigned to the wrong reviewer.
