Tried on 4th gen Pro on iOS 16.2, same problem, not sure what chip that uses

12.9" iPadPro 4th Gen uses the A12Z.
Both 12.9" iPadPro 5th Gen and 11" iPadPro 3rd Gen use the M1.

Don't know if this could have something to do with the input being processed for priority for speech (ie. cut everything bellow ~300 and above ~2000 or so) which is what most headsets are used for. But that's a real long-shot...
