The setup you've sketched above would result in8 cycle round robin going through the layers one by one sequentially.
You can't set a sequence length/position from the graphical interface in AudioLayer at the moment, but you can use this with the import from SFZ: if you prepare an SFZ file using sequence length and sequence position the AudioLayer will properly do a two cycle round robin with 4 samples playing at one time.
