Portatron Tape Synthesizer - Tutorial - This is Absolutely Brilliant (Desktop)
This is so good, I don't usually share desktop stuff here but I thought some of you may find this really interesting, especially if you are into ambient, experimental or drones.
It is also playable as an instrument too.
I would truly love to see this ported to iOS.
I hope you enjoy the video.
PS If you do ever use desktop stuff there is a free trial version you can use for 20 minutes, then you have to reload, but it's enough to see if it's something you may like.

Thanks for a great run-through of Portatron Doug. I bought this recently, and the tutorial is really helpful!
Couple of threads about Portatron already on the forum, and here are some great patches for this amazing tool.

how do we make this happen on iOS!?
I spent decades trying to eliminate the flaws of tape recording, then they do this. LOL.
I wanted this when I saw it some time ago but the price is a bit steep. And dang it, I just missed an awesome sale.
You can get it for $69.00 on PluginBoutique:

@echoopera Thanks. I should have said a lot steep. I missed a $29 sale which I would have gone for.

If you take a look at this thread, the developers are considering an ipad version...
good news!!
