GO:MIXER in and iDAM out at the same time
Hi folks,
I'm sending audio to AB via the Roland GO:MIXER and it works a treat but this uses up the USB-C port so I'm no longer able to sync via iDAM to my mac.
I have the mac USB-C AV Multiport adaptor but that's not seeing the output.
I've also tried sending the GO:MIXER through a USB hub but it doesn't show up that way.
Any thoughts?

Not possible.
Connect your go mixer to your mac for other inputs. Then make an agregate device with the idam audio input and the go mixer input.
But no way to send audio to your iPad this way.
Or connect your ipad with the go mixer through an audio interface on your mac.
Just to clarify a bit. A USB port is either master or slave, never both. Most of the time, your iPad works as USB master, connected to audio interface, hub, or adapter. But, if the iPad detects another master, the iPad becomes a slave. This can only happen when the iPad is directly connected to the computer, and that makes IDAM possible.
Thanks uncledave.
So, just to avoid more posting about this....
Is the only latency-free and reliable solution for getting both in and out of the ipad at once the iConnect route?
Not latency free. Lowest latency would be more accurate.
