Buffer size weirdness on iOS 16.3.1?

I picked up a new development iPad (6th gen pro), and have iOS 16.3.1. Something seems wonky with buffer sizes; they can't be changed to 256 or below -- in many cases, it seems stuck at 1024 samples.

I've tried AUM and Loopy HD, to see if there was a tweak -- and a variety of different audio interfaces, as well as just the mic input. Both report being unable to move to smaller buffer sizes. I've never had a problem like this on other iPads. Not exactly sure what's going on. I've rebooted, and made sure no other apps were locking up the audio system.

Anyone else seen this?

I’ve had the same issue on my iPhone for a few versions now; disabling Siri solved it for me

Wow -- that seems to have been it. Thanks much!

I think it was mentioned in a different thread that it’s an Apple bug, I don’t know if it’s on their radar though
