iPad loops and ableton

Hello folks. I had a workflow in mind, and it goes like this

Make individual loops in key, in AUM. Move these loops over to Ample Sound Launchpad, make an arrangement and export it to ableton.

Sadly I've just realised (there's always a hitch!) that you can't export to ableton from launchpad. Only record a single audio file, not even stems.

Does anyone have any ideas for an app or method in which I could arrange my already recorded loops into a pleasing fashion, move this arrangement to Ableton and finish the track? I had pinned my hopes on launchpad, so all advice welcome!

Thanks folks!

Launchpad is intended as a performance app. If you want stems of your loops, BlocsWave is Launchpad’s companion which exports Ableton Live Sets

Why does there need to be a middle step in this equation?
You could just export the loops by recording separate tracks in AUM and transfering the stems to Ableton where you've got a superior environment for arranging and editing.. greater flexibility and more powerful audio fx/routing, I've been doing it this way for a while now, definitely cuts down on some of the more frustrating elements of completing music on an iPad..

Yeah you're right. I even own a hardware launchpad, might well be the case I use clip view in Ableton rather than the middle man.

    What @symianbeatz said...

If you really want to arrange on iOS, maybe stick to one of these:
    https://wiki.audiob.us/doku.php?id=ableton

I would probably go with GR-16, Beathawk or TriqTraq if I really wanted to export as Ableton Set

What I actually do is arrange on ZenBeats or Beatmaker 3 and export stems to continue working on the desktop
