Anyone understand Audiopaste/AudioCopy?
I’ve had the AudioCopy app for about five years. I think I got it for Launchpad or something like that originally, but I’ve never used it much.
Now I’m trying to use it to get sounds into iMPC Pro2, and i realise I don’t understand it. And I can’t find any documentation that helps. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is, and how it works?

Check out the Retronyms YouTube channel - that will give you some good videos on the various aspect of it and how it integrates with iMPC Pro.
I still have iMPC Pro and to access Audiopaste I have to go to Sounds
in iMPC Pro and there's an icon "saying" Audiopaste.
Tap on Audiopaste and Audiopaste opens up and
then import the sounds from Audiopaste into iMPC Pro.
This is for the iMPC Pro so I would expect that iMPC Pro 2 would follow the same "logic".
That icon is gone in pro2. It’s there in the original iMPC, which I also have, but when I tap it it says “Failed to connect to AudioCopy. Please try again.”
Do you ever get that message? I get it when I try to add sounds into AudioCopy from AudioShare too. I can’t get any new sounds into Audiocopy itself.
@looperboy iMPC Pro2 has files app for years . You can access and import or copy and paste your sounds and folders to the USER folders . They will then show up in impc pro2’s browser.
No need to use Audiocopy or Audiopaste
Don’t I need to use iTunes to get my sounds into the User Folders though? Is there another way?

This was working last night and now it isn't.
Oh well.
@looperboy I use a free desktop software called iFunbox to transfer between mac & ipad or yes itunes. Can also use dropbox etc if you have files in a “cloud”

I presumed you already had your samples&sounds already on ipad . If not yes ifunbox
That seems very convoluted. So I do a screen recording from YouTube on my iphone, import into Koala, export from Koala to wherever, hook up to the desktop, drag from wherever into iTunes or iFunbox, drag from there into iMPC? So you can understand why I want to get AudioPaste working 😂
It would be okay if the editing on iMPC Pro2 worked, then I could just record straight in, but the wave editing is horrific on iPhone on iMPC. The right and left markers hide the wave. And the envelope barely works at all.
Does impc2 expose its folder to files app? Or have an import capability?
This post implies that impc2 has Files app support

Oh, wow! That works. Thanks very much! 🙏 It doesn’t seem to be mentioned in the documentation.
