Thank you for your response Harry! Really appreciate your follow up, I tried your recommendation and it turns out that It was my error, and I could open the modulation selector, but was not holding long enough to open the LFO/ADSR windows… thank you for what you have created here, it in our top 5 and probably top 3 if being honest. The plaits algorithm is perfect, great product… kind guidance.
Will find you on IG. Peace
@VirSyn I wonder if this is a bug with BrainZ? When I dial up BrainZ patch Additive Brain, and open up the BrainZ module and play a note, and it sounds like MORPH is being modulated with an Envelope of some kind, and yet no Modulation Source is assigned.
Either there is a default modulation source used (though I can’t find anything in the manual to suggest this) e.g. similar to Particle Noise where the particles are triggered by random noise if no mod source unassigned, or this might be a bug?
Altering the modulation amount affects the amount of modulation sound as if a modulation source is assigned.
It's kind of hidden feature also existing in the original:
If any of the inputs FM, TIMBE or MORPH is not connected to a source then it gets an internal connection to the built in decay envelope which normally controls only the Low Pass Gate (LPG). Just a handy way to get something modulated fast...
Thanks for your reply … I had a feeling it might be pre-wired 👍
I have 2 questions for Tera Pro. Firstly, is there anyway we can get Microtera patches to be airdropped into Tera Pro to have access to its modular system? I have made many patches for it and would love to be able to airdrop them into Tera Pro to keep all the sounds in one place.
Secondly, I just purchased an iPhone for the single fact to use synths on the go. I have Animoog and SynthScaper on iPhone, I was wondering if we can get Tera Pro as well. It would be great to be able to make patches anywhere you are when away from the studio.
Thanks
Is upgrade essential.
More than waves?
Is it essential? No.
Is it worthwhile? Absolutely.
More than waves? No.
It's easy enough to get an idea of what it is. If you have miRack check out Audible Instruments Macro Oscillator 2. Or, grab the Spectrum from the free Spectrum Synthesizer Bundle.
Bought before you replied. Do own these other apps and need to use mirack.
Is waves worth buying though.
Cheers wim.
I think waves is worth buying. The thing with the Virsyn apps also is that Harry is just such an excellent preset designer, the presets alone make each iap worth it, imo.
Bought mate.
Purchased and because of app and mpe routing of channels.
Made music system better and not just mpe.
Copying saved, named controller mappings around controller.
I can work on different projects in Drambo. Without that much midi hassle.
There is no way at the moment to import microTERA patches to Tera Pro. But this may change very soon...
iPhone compatibility is long on our list now. It didn't made it to the top so far but it will come without doubt sometime.
Wonderful to hear! Thanks for the update!
New Update to Tera Pro - 1.7.5
Apr 13, 2023
New lowpass filter mode with 6db slope per octave
Import and conversion of microTERA sounds
In-App Purchase Waveshaping sound library with 200 presets
Amazing! Ask and ye shall receive! Bought the new Waveshaping IAP and it's just tons more fun and experimentation for Tera Pro. This is how you do a synth!
Import from microtera is working well. Are there more patches out there?
Can we import all the preset at once ?
Does the new Waveshaping IAP add new functionality as well as the patch bank, or do the new waveshaping/MicroTERA patches use existing TeraPro functionality?
The IAP are only a patch bank.
The free Tera Pro update includes internal improvements in the Wave Shaper, especially regarding feedback paths from Mixer back to the shaper.
Sorry, but microTERA can only export sounds one by one.
OK thanks!
@VirSyn Please make a keyboard in Auv3, let it not be an mpe. Let's say it would be extremely convenient in Endlesss. And not only there. Maybe with the ability to disable it in the settings or remove it.
Xequence AU Keys
@VirSyn I’m loving Tera pro, I have two comments
in the Brainz module, the modulation inputs are helpfully labelled so I quickly know what each input/attenuator is linked to without clicking it. Will this design be rolled out for the rest of the modules?
Is there any chance the Harmonics, Timbre, Morph parameters can dynamically change names to match the functions for each individual model? I know they’re mentioned in the text box under the Aux scope, but that text gets cut off so I usually don’t see the full info.
Thanks for a great synth!
Damn I LOVE Brainz! This really is the best synth on iOS. Apologies if this has already been asked, but is there a way to type in values? I’m playing around with the frequency knob in Brainz but it’s very very difficult to get the value to -12 or +12 for example…..I’ve tried long-pressing but that doesn’t seem to work. @VirSyn .
wanted to make it hard to get exact values to get that hardware feeling...
...just kidding.
Numerical entry is not possible, but will think about making this more user friendly.
Harry
Well, you certainly achieved that!
Cheers for getting back to me man.
