Best midi sequencer for my workflow
Hello everyone, sorry for my english, I'm italian.
I need a midi sequencer that has the following features:
- scale management
- midi import
- drag&drop midi import from Sample crate
- "Undo" button
- quantize
- midi records
- save/export midi
Even better if it was possible from a single instance (Atom2 or helium) to manage various midi channels to the various plugins
To be used in aum.
I currently have Atom1 but it doesn't support midi import, I think the choice on Atom2 or Helium.
The current difference i know helium has CC control and atom2 does not.
Advice? Thanks

Have a look at Imaginando LK. Not sure if it does drag&drop but should fit otherwise.
Same with Atom 2. Likewise, I don’t think it has drag & drop, but everything else it does perfectly, and has scales galore. Way more than LK has FWIW.
Edit: just re-read your post @ianni992, and saw you actually mentioned Atom 2.
I was also going by your “bulleted list” which didn’t include CC control. Yes, if you need that, you’ll need to look elsewhere (Helium or maybe Drambo?)
Atom2 does have drag and drop - you also don’t need to adjust the bar number before dragging a midi file in - just drag it in, bingo.
And atom2 can record automation, that came in an update a while ago, no?
+1 for LK Matrix. Brilliant app with outstanding support from Imaginando.
No idea on the drag+drop either unfortunately
LK does allow drag and drop 👍
