OP-1 Field $511 Discount
So I didn't want to mention anything until it arrived, but I got an email last week from BH Photo Video that gave me a code that offered a $511 (?) discount on the OP-1 Field until March 31. Maybe this is because I once bought an OP-Z from BH? I was dubious, but the code worked, and if ever there was a definition of a panic purchase, this might be it. (I also got the email the same week I got a bonus at work, so, hey—my hands were tied.)

With the exception of various improvements (tape length, storage, velocity sensitivity, etc), do the basic original tutorials still hold? Any recommendations? Do the original Red Means Recording videos still make sense to watch?

Congrats! I’ve always had a small interest in one of those in my workflow especially for travelling. I just can’t make myself find that kind of value in it. Especially since it’s higher than the osmose I just bought.
