Pattern-based Sequencing Saint-Saëns Aquarium with AUM, ATOM 2, LK and MIDIMixer (on PatchStorage)
A demonstration of how you can make a structured song in AUM. It uses 3 instances of LK to launch A and B sections with the factored melodic sequencing handled by 13 instances of Atom 2 Piano Roll. End to end automation tasks use 4Pockets’ MIDIMixer. There’s a lot more detail in the YouTube description. More like a test case than a creation but hopefully demonstrates techniques that can be generally applied. Special thanks to Imaginando for their help with some of the finer points.
The AUM project is now available on PatchStorage if you’d like to look under the hood. https://patchstorage.com/pattern-based-sequencing-aquarium/
