The Audiobus Forum is now the Loopy Pro Forum!

In case you didn't see the announcement thread, I have some big news: Audiobus – the app – is going to a new home. Francesco and Andrea are developers and musicians who are keen to pursue Audiobus’ further potential, keep it updated and enhance the experience for users old and new – and unlike me, they have the resources to do so! They’re full of ideas and energy, and I am confident that Audiobus will be in good hands.

The Audiobus Forum, however, is staying right here with me. After some consultation with the community here about what to do, I've decided to rename it to the Loopy Pro Forum, at forum.loopypro.com.

It has a new name and new colours, but otherwise, it's the same place, and nothing else will change.

Cheers,
Michael

using auv3 plugins to record audio on kakraoke site

Hello! This is probably a strange question) Perhaps there is no answer to it ... but I'll ask anyway. I sing on a karaoke site. Real time recording via iPad. There are audio effects, but they are few. Can I use the auv3 plugins for voice processing on Ipad and send audio to a karaoke program in real time? I tried to do it in Audiobus but it doesn't work. maybe there are some other applications? I would be very grateful for any ideas!

    nvm. I misread the post.

  • Can you be more specific about what you're doing? Are you sending your voice to an app? If so, which app?

  • If it’s a website you can bring the audio in to a host or daw with Web Audio Player, but not sure how you would get it back out to a website in real-time. You could easily record it, add fx, etc… but don’t think you can send it back out to a website in real-time. If that is in fact what you are asking…

  • Oh, I didn't even expect answers. Thanks a lot!

Yes, I send my voice to the karaoke app. it's called Smule. I sing, there is a recording, then in the same place in the application window I adjust the volume, add effects and send to the site

The problem is not with sending to the site, the problem is that you can't connect fx effects to the voice recording program. It is not seen by Audiobus. This is the Smule program.
