I'm a long way off that level with miRack yet.

The journey of learning Drambo is a fulfilling one and Drambo is perfect for Ambient or any type of music genre you want to create.

FlexiSampler in Drambo alone is worth the price of admission and can serve as a great foundation to capture loops and sequences from your OP-Z being fed into your iOS device. Nothing better than perfect loops being captured i always say 🤪

There’s also tons of tutorials on YouTube to get you started—plus the Drambo Legion are always here to help 😉

I’m just speaking from experience because I’ve tried almost every permutation of Sequencer and DAW on iOS and Drambo has always inspired me and taken me in new directions with my music. So I’d vote to cut to the chase and go all in especially if you already have Drambo.

It’s great that we have so many options available to us on iOS. But this can be overwhelming at times so I’m just offering up my perspective having travelled the Music Creation road on iOS since 2015—thank you Korg Gadget for getting this wonderful journey started 🙏🏼

Is FlexiSampler built in, or something I have to add on, or buy, or download on PatchStorage?

It’s the built in Sampler in Drambo.

    Great. Simplicity. I like it.

Me too, but downloading an already-made patch from Patchstorage, and sending it out from the iPad might not be too hard to do.

    Indeed.

The Drambo legion! Yes, you're a keen bunch, always looking out to support a new recruit!

    Come to the dark side!

    Built in.

Drambo really is excellent. It’s sequencer is very similar to the OP-Z, so you can hop between the two easily.

I have also tried Drambo on the Mac, but I find it’s clunky without touch. I prefer to use USB, or even Bluetooth, to connect Drambo on iPad to the Mac.

Oh, alright then. I'm in. It's time. The time was always going to come, it was just a matter not of if, but when.

    I can't use Drambo on my Mac anyway, it's a 2020 i5 model.

  • Is Audulus 4 useful for this sort of stuff yet? I get the impression that all the Audulus 4 sequencers are both too technically exposed and over-detailed, and yet very simplistic in what they accomplish
