Moog Model D and GarageBand
Was browsing the App Store for next month’s purchases (I always use my portion of band royalties on gear ) and I’d seen a review of Model D that says “it doesn’t work anymore ” in GarageBand. Of course that is an incredibly vague statement. Anybody know of any current issues?
Comments
Just tested it as an AUv3 in GarageBand and it works perfectly.
I figured…I generally don’t trust wording that just says “it don’t work” with no details. Not just talking about apps…prior to losing my job a year ago, I did cable and internet tech support for YEARS and whenever someone said that and avoided going into specifics, 9/10 times it was user error 😂
One fun example is this lady who kept insisting her DVR wasn’t working. After a long bit of back and forth, it finally came out that she could not fast forward because every time she did it said “live tv”.
Ahem.
Haha. Never underestimate the customer’s ability to screw things up.
That is definitely true lol
The crazy part about that app review…I’d imagine with how popular Moog model D is , if there were issues it’d have been the topic of discussion.
Then again I wasn’t expecting Zeeon not to work well in GarageBand on my iPhone when I got it , and that’s a popular app…and I would’ve expected the IVCS3 to be difficult to use on GB on the iPhone yet it’s quite easy to navigate, so I guess it’s a bit of a crapshoot lol
So I read a few more of the reviews…my analogy referring to the bewildered customer I once dealt with was more apt that I thought…
Several of the reviews (positive AND negative) are actually referring the Arturia iMini 🤨
