getting organelle vibes from this one. Not sure who it's for tbh

  • I would love an Organelle.
Or this one. Or both
But damn, these things are expensive

  • Fisher Price 'My First Sampler'

    hahaha

  • Looks great and then I saw the price. Seems like a lot considering it’s repackaging existing components.

  • That „repackaging“ is the most expensive part of the product if you‘re not gonna deliver in Fisher Price quantities ;)
The processing core of the unit is a mere 35 bucks (iirc) and they don‘t make a secret of it.

I checked a couple of videos about the raw module (Arduino like) and found the sound not particular great, just what to expect from such units (Raspi and similar).
This became very (!) obvious when real analog parts (like CEM filters) were included, which seems relatively easy. Either DIY or Eurorack.

Bottomline: it can be an interesting device as a start point, at least in case you plan to extend it.

  • When you see prices like those, you can feel Tech-y and try to DIY

    Something like OTTO or TOP-1

    For me? Maybe someday
Today i'm feeling overwhelmed and lazy
