Live gear change Depeche Mode
Seems that Depeche Mode is finally retiring the Virus Ti2 and on stage now Peter Gordeno is using an OB-X8 as a controller and synth, but keeps his Roland RD-2000. Change made due to the sounds of Memento Mori or the loss of Fletch, now forcing PG to also cover bass lines etc Fletch used to play? Or is the OB-X8 a better controller since many of the sounds are triggered? Anyone want to share their nerdy gear thoughts regarding this since I’ve started😁?
Also noticing no position moves on stage, leaving stage left empty where Fletch used to be😔💔🖤...

I noticed the same thing. I guess it’s a new toy and they can afford it. I can’t comment on the sound difference, I never even saw either in real life 😄. It feels different without Fletch, though
