Cavalier Montanari, "Sea Songs" new EP
A childhood friend, Caroline Gabard, just released her first EP as Cavalier Montanari (she released many albums under different aliases during the last 20 years).
She contacted me during the pandemic and we started working on a few tracks together. I feel lucky and grateful that some of the ideas ended up on two tracks of the final EP.
The EP can be heard on Bandcamp and for those interested, there is a limited edition of 300 CDs with beautifully handcrafted booklet including lyrics and photographs from her and the great Thomas Jean Henri (also known as Thomas Van Cotton) who also played and produced the album. It seems to be selling very fast, I am glad for her.

Lovely album. The vocals and accompaniments fit together beautifully, neither overpowering the other… this light in you is a great example. Little hints of Bjork and Kate Bush early on I thought but a very unique voice . Really enjoyed this one 🙏
