Using Koala to mess with a recorded sample

Dear all,
Good morning, at the start of a new week.

Just a quick question rly guys.
I have a silly sound sample I’m trying to mess with in real-time (perform) on my iPad.

I have, AUM, GB, KOALA at my disposal but I have never sampled, in my life and can’t seem to understand the workflow.

Basic goal is just to have sound sample loop, and mash with it as it plays (ie perform with it) using Koalas controls (dirt, crush, reverb, pitch etc)

I’ve upped a short video here about what I’m trying to achieve.
I can’t seem to get koala to allow me to ‘perform’ with my imported sample.

Ps , with koala, ]is it possible (if u have a midi keyb plugged in) to play/perform samples using keys on the midi keyboard?

If you want to directly mess with a live sample, you might want to consider Samplr, inside AUM, and then add in Koala FX (or any other fx you like) after it in the channel.

What about Reslice compared to Samplr?

I think Reslice isnt working though.

Midi.

Send it midi sequencer. Dosent trigger well. Then its like Reslice stores the sequencing even after sequencer removed.

I did turn arp off.

It seems working now though.
