Fugue Machine with Eurorack

After 4+ years, I'm still finding new possibilities with Fugue Machine. In this video I'm combining it with Eurorack. Fugue Machine is sequencing the new Macro Oscillator2 algorithm on Disting EX, which gives you four independent Plaits voices.

Did you need an midi interface, or can you just run cable (with adapters) from ipad to Disting?

Good question...you need something like MIDIXO to interface with the Disting. (Or else a midi-to-cv converter, but that will limit you, as there are not enough inputs on the Disting for 4 pitches + 4 triggers)

Heh, that is the classic eurorack experience--having to buy another module so that you can use the modules you already have. Pretty cool that you worked it out though. So many great sequencers on ios you could drive your euro with.

So true! And yes, iOS sequencers are generally better at handling polyphony so perfect for this kind of thing.

Lovely gentle track. I always struggle with Fugue Machine so I’m impressed with this. No idea what all the wires and knobs do but it looks great 😊
