Patch recipes for Euclidean LFOs and Euclidean envelopes

Euclidean LFO: Set Rozeta LFO to manual with very slow rate. This means the LFO should trigger when it receives a midi note on. Use Rozeta Rhythm to trigger the LFO.

Euclidean envelope: use Rozeta Rhythm to trigger FAC Envolver. Adjust attack on Envolver to taste.

I just now dreamed these up; I can't try them out until I get a new ipad. They seem like good ways of adding rhythmic interest to synth patches in a way that syncs with the groove but is not metronomic.

  • Nice idea, tried this yesterday (a little bit different in Drambo with several AD envelopes that only react to one of the lanes in Rozeta Rhythm modulating some FX-parameters). Changing the patterns in RR on the fly for permutations is cool and being able to map more than one of the envelopes to the same parameter with different depths might be cool too (haven't tried the second one yet.

FX params, yes! Delay feedback or mix should be ripe for this.

  • Nice for filter movements on a pad or drone too, and a frequency shifter did some interesting stuff, too. (: Thanks for the good idea.

Thanks for reminding me about triggering those with midi!
