Quiet Night
Wasn’t particularly planning on creating anything tonight but it’s been a lovely day and evening so I was inspired.
A slow (and long for me) ambient piece which builds slowly…
SnakeBud playing Speldosa and TeraVerse.
StepBud playing BeatHawk Liquid from Total Bass.
Piano Motifs playing Ravenscroft 275.
Me playing Fripper Finger Swell in GeoShred.
Effects TB Reverb, FAC Alteza, Spirangle, LRC7, Pitch Drift, MU Filter and Attack Softener.

Wow, that is epic. That's one of my favorite patches too. It would fit well on pretty much every track.
You're getting way more out of the delay than I ever have. I usually just get chirping. Did you tweak the feedback level maybe? Or do you have an external delay on it?
Must have been a nice day. 🙂
Thanks @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr , yes it’s a lovely sound. I ran it through LRC7 (bass boost), Attack Softener, MU Filter, TB Reverb and two more Attack Softeners for good measure 😊
Cheers @Mountain_Hamlet , it was… now it’s back to normal rainy windy here ☔️
Beautiful representation of a quiet night, well done!
👍🏻 Do you live in a rural or urban area? I imagine you surrounded by a lot of nature.

Ah, a new language only the most erudite understand. Nice diversion from you, Tony.
I’m intrigued @Stochastically … is there an implied question re the link between where you live and the sort of music a title such as ‘Quiet Night’ might inspire… or am I reading too much into it ?😊 This is the view from our front door about an hour ago btw…
Very relaxing, laid back piece!
Ah-! now I'm envious! - It's not the title so much but your music in general that suggests someone living close to nature.
Truly a beautiful and serene composition.
Love the artwork, as always!
I am inspired by your beautiful garden, which is starting to come alive.
The big tree in the center will be a focal point, and all the birds will try to hang out in your green solace.
Love the peace, love the music, love the view!!!
What a treat! This was a wonderful listen and very inspirational.
I’m not really into ambient, as you probably know, but this is quite nice. A complete 180 from your last post. I love the view from your front door! Looks like heaven. My wife had a nice garden until the condo association made us take it out. That looks like the Eiffel Tower in the background, but you’re in the the UK, right? I will probably listen to this in its entirety before bed. I have to cut it short, my wife is making chicken enchiladas for dinner! Have a great day.
Many thanks @AlterEgo_UK , @Stochastically (interesting observation), @ReneAsologuitar (yes we’re lucky, lots of birds ), @peanut_gallery and @Paulieworld (just a plain old British electricity pylon… hope you enjoyed your enchiladas!)
Your mixes are so clear. This came on right after I posted a song, reminding me (with great combination of distinctive sonic power and gentle ambience)that I need to keep working. I love the echoing conclusion and all the sounds. And also envy you the view. All that time passed quickly. Thank you
