A Philip Glass like piece about a path which seems a bit bumpy to me, feel the pain in your legs after a hurried walk, are you running away from something?
Thanks @Frenq. It’s mostly judt a pun on the snack.🙏😉
Nice traveling music and it’s the type that includes M&M’s… yum.
Nice use of pipa!
Agree nice use of Pipa , I wasn’t able to like this app but you make a good use of it.
Thanks @McD @Stochastically and @BerlinFx. Pipa is very unusual, indeed. There is no other vocal app that brings its particular vocal quality to the table and has a wide range of sound and application, IMHO.
As usual, you give me some ideas to try out.
Nice mix of apps. The music has quite a frenetic pace about it (not too fast but like a hurried journey).
Hey Mike. I listened to this a few times and… I don’t get it. I really tried to like it… but I don’t get it. I just listened to Armistice again. That one is sublime.
Thanks @Stochastically and @AlterEgo_UK. Appreciated!
Lol, @Paulieworld, you should have only listened once! I make tracks like this now and again. Like a schizo Philip Glass might. If you don’t care for Glass like minimalist music you won’t like this. I see it as a type of energy combined with the Shepard’s Scale. Just not your cup of tea, my friend.
I had to look that one up! I understand about going outside of your comfort zone once in a while. That metal post of mine was a real cluster, but it was fun at the time. I actually like Philip Glass… for about two minutes. I loved Metamorphosis and kept waiting for the B part. Oh well, he’s made millions doing that. Can’t argue with success. Have a great day!
I do like the sound design of this and the melody. A little off the beaten path. Good thing you brought Trail mix.😄
I was just listening to Metamorphosis and I found this a few minutes ago. I thought you might get a kick out of it. No sheet music! She’s totally into it. You go girl!
Thx @MadeofWax. Repetitions do make you hungry.
That was great @Paulieworld. I love how serious she is. That piano stymies me. Is it a grand, an upright. What’s the music stand doing up there? Btw. You can play my track and her’s together. That will really drive you crazy!
Also check this out… lol, Philip Glass choreographed by the audience.
She is both adorable and intense. I love watching her right hand cross over to hit those low notes. Her timing is perfect. Don’t know if it’s an upright or grand, but I hope her parents buy her something better. That one sounds like crap. In any case, she’s standing up because she’s too tiny to sit on a bench without a couple Chicago phonebooks.
I love that video. It reminds me of the time I saw Virgil Fox at the Mighty Wurlitzer in college. The difference is, nobody left during his performance! My wife asked me what I was laughing at. I said I’m watching Haydn’s Farewell Symphony.
I'm typically 50/50 on Phillip Glass, half the time I love it and half the time it's a hard pass. This probably evokes the half the time I love it. A very fun listen, and a great mix of instruments. It paints quite the tapesty of sound.
