March of the Heffalumps
An updated version of my only completed track using Nanostudio 2 - to overcome the lack of audio tracks the guitar parts were recorded to tempo externally and then sliced (phrase by phrase) & imported to NS2 Slate pads. The rest of the sounds are from the amazing Obsidian and a Slate drum kit made by @richardyot. Updated to Nembrini amps/fx (Faceman, Overdrive Special, Centaur, Delay 3000), DDMF (MagicDeathEye Stereo, 6144, MagicVerb) and Toneboosters (Barricade).

Outstanding guitar work! A little Jimi, a little Roy Buchanan, but pure @pbelgium. Great track, bro!
Nice, timeless and dynamic. Clicked on it, because of the title, never been exposed to Winnie the Pooh as a kid, but reading it to my son now and love it.
Love it. Keep on truckin’, mate. 👍👍👍🙏
Wow, this recording is lovely!
I love @richardyot 's creation as well!!!
My favorite part is the guitar solo, beautiful tine!!!
You are so appreciated, @pbelgium !!!
Very nice bass line that keeps the groove going and excellent guitar chops.
I'm glad you found my free Slate kits useful - I do pretty much all of my drum sequencing in NS2, using free samples from the web as well as commercial ones from Drum Drops. I've also sampled a few iOS apps and made kits from them (Soft Drummer, Funk Drummer, Beathawk Acoustic Kit).
Incidentally you might find 4Pockets Multitrack worth checking out: that's what I use to bring audio tracks into NS2, it's almost like having actual audio tracks in the app.
Perfect music for watching a parade of heffalumps!
Thanks for listening @Paulieworld @LinearLineman @ReneAsologuitar @AlterEgo_UK. I don't post many original compositions so your comments are much appreciated.
Glad you like the music and Winnie the Pooh - I bought my son a copy of the book and ended up reading it again, which inspired the tune.
Thanks for listening and the tip @richardyot. And thanks for the Slate kits, I have several of them from the NS2 forum, and they sound great!
Tremendous track and playing 🙏
Thanks for listening and the kind words @GeoTony.
Nice track and interesting how you manage audio with slate on NS2
At the time I used Reslice by Virsyn to slice and import directly into Slate - not an ideal workaround having to record a solo to a click and not really know if it's going to fit. Thanks for listening.
Some pretty elegant heffalumps there.
The art was created in the amazing Artstudio Pro. Thanks for listening @Stochastically.
Fantastic work @pbelgium guitar chops on point, and I’m totally loving that keyboard chord progression!👍
Thanks for the comment @Edward_Alexander. The piano vamp is a deceptively simple 2-bar loop - my keyboard prowess is somewhat lacking.
