3 free kits for FAC Drumkit
I just released 3 new free kits for FAC Drumkit.
The samples are a selection from my Patreon reward packs 26 and 27.
Source movie for these samples is a classic (Public Domain) slapstick 1949 short movie.
Each kit has 16 samples.
Zvon Slapstick Hits 1
Selection of percussive hits. In this kit, the synth engine is not used.Zvon Slapstick Hits 2
More percussive hits.
Synth engine is not used except for the last 4 pads as they use the same four samples as kit 1 but I modified them with the pitch envelope.Zvon Slapstick Voices
Mix of speech samples and animal (cat and dog) sounds from the same classic movie.
Synth engine is not used.
Kits can be downloaded from Patchstorage, I will try to make a demo video soon!
Comments
Sweet! Will def check these out later. Thanks!
New ones! Hooray! Been waiting for more to go up on Patchstorage. Thank you @zvon
@zvon Thank you man. I’ve always appreciated all the samples you put out. Good stuff.
You’re all welcome!
@Edward_Alexander Let me know what you think!
@Poppadocrock
@Morgman73 thanks for your good words!
These are great! I lol’d at the one sound that I believe was also used in the TV show “The Three Stooges” (I think it’s the one where Moe pokes Curly in the eyes, then bops him on the head.)
Not that it matters here, but The Three Stooges short films used to only be shown in movie theaters (in a pre-TV era). Many years later they showed those movies on TV.
Lovely!!!
You are so awesome!!!
Thank you!!!
Thank you all for the new comments. I am very glad to read them!
It is indeed the Three Stooges. It's one of the four of their shorts from the 30's and 40's that are in the Public Domain.
I will cover the other ones in future releases.
Note that those interested in getting the full packs 26 and 27 (184 longer samples in total) can do so by joining my Patreon. When becoming my patron, you get the reward sample packs released since Feb 2023, so beginning with pack 25. And I release a new small exclusive audio sample pack with content not available on my website or elsewhere every month.
Here's a (bit strange) demo I made with 10 samples from packs 26 and 27. Note that some channels are processed.
Doug @thesoundtestroom made this great demo of the 3 kits! He sequenced them with Polybeats and used various FX processors.
Here's the edit I made from Doug's above video. It's condensed to a bit over 5 minutes.
Thanks again Doug for making the original video!
Thanks for these! Missed this the first go around. About to give them a try
You're welcome, have fun with the sounds!
