EWF Cover with Auria pro. It still works!
After The Love has gone is one of the Tracks of my lifetime. Somehow I had to do this. 2nd time I used the piano-role on Auria pro instead of an Lumbeat app. I'm not a singer. But I tried my best ;-)
Sounds all from Yamaha Montage. The best Companion for IOS!!!

Oh man, Thanks. I'm tired. Hee is the link
Thanks for this nice song, relaxing time.
Tkanks for hearing! Everytime after posting I hear teh main mixing mistakes.. Lead vocal too loud and too much low end….
Never forget that Soundcloud compress again your track, if I remember to master for Soundcloud your final track ready to dowload must be at - 2 db
Thank you. This rendering thing destroys so much. I‘d like how the pro‘s do to keep the good sound….
You did a good cover anyway. When I was young I was working a summer job in a great recording studio , analog one. No secret , to have a good output you need a good mixing ( easy to say but a lot of years to learn) and for that 2 ways : you do yout mixt with a good limiter like a Fabfilter one without any FX and you put on the Maxter bus à good reverb / delay and gentle multiband compressor no more. But nothing easy.
Other trick for home studios, don’t rely on monitors as you don’t know the acoustic problem in your room so just use a good reference headphones like DT770 , never flat but once your learn it 2 or 3 weak points on frequency your ear will help you to mix better.
Of course if you got a bad input because of bad cables you will always have trouble mixing.
I do my best to try to have a good mix but it take many time to do , it is not perfect even sometimes bad so if you are not a pro enjoy to do music and you do it better than me.
Thanks, I use Fabfilter L2 and reverb. I had Dt 770 and dt 880. The result mostly were too much highs and lows. And this Beyerdynamic dip in the highs….
Strange as DT770 should be ok in your range spectrum as you are over 50 hertz for low range but be careful for hight frequency DT770 sound louder. Do you mix through L2 ? Normally if you do it you should not have too many problems. Perhaps the reverb.
Hm, may be Ishiuld try them again. The L2 I use after mixing.
Try to mix directly through L2 not after mixing this the way some Pro do.
Ok
Great job, the vocals are excellent.
@richardyot : Thank you. The vocals… you are kiddin…It was a struggle…
